i recently posted a video about a man who was born without arms or legs. i got some comments on it that got my mind thinking some more.
the comments that worried me the most were when sweet, wonderful people started comparing their life to his and doing so reminded them that they have so much to be thankful for, that they shouldn't take for granted. true and true!
it's not that this is not true. we do have so much to be thankful for. more to be thankful for than we will ever understand.
it's just that we also have trials and struggles and every right to some days hang our head and cry. life sucks... it's really nasty tough and each day we must choose to get out of bed.
i don't know this man but i'd like to believe that he is not out speaking to people because he wants us to see how tough his life is. i believe he speaks to people because he wants everyone to know that life is tough, their life is tough and that we can somehow within each of us find the strength to keep getting up.
to this end i say keep getting up. don't hate yourself for falling down, just find within you the strength needed to get back up.
