part deux

After more than three hours pushing snow we are dug out. Well, dug out to the road. Thanks to that ridiculously kind neighbor it didn't take us five hours to get the job done. I'm starting to feel a little irresponsible that we don't own a snowblower.

We still cannot go anywhere because our road has not been plowed. I don't expect that will happen today. I'm sure the plows are very busy though and my thoughts are with them and others who are not able to sit at home today and enjoy warm blankets and good books.

Remember when I said I hated sledding? I was so wrong. It rocks when you can do it in your front yard!

Only twice in my childhood life did I get a snow day. Never did I get two snow days! My kids just got a second day off for the snow! SMILES!
