oh what do you do in the summertime?

We've finally finalized the family trip to Utah. We will leave here June 18th. We're going to drive and on our way stop off to see Mt. Rushmore. We should arrive in Utah that Monday-ish. We then spend four glorious weeks in UTAH. What will we do?


  • Hike the back side of Mt. Timp (dad, wyatt... who is going to take me up?)
  • show the kids the Mt. Timp caves that their ancestor discovered
  • sleep overs with cousins and late nights talking to sisters
  • isaak and brigham up to trouble
  • BIG SUNDAY meals every day of the week. Not big meals but meals with lots of people
  • Olive Garden and Rock Band with Cristy, Lynne and Adi!
  • Matthias' 1st birthday celebration
  • enjoying the dry heat
  • THE parade in American Fork (a favorite)
  • nic getting to see lucas and jason
  • camping with the Lawrence family
  • making pillowcases with Sam
  • Julia's baptism
  • anthony spend some time with david and alex
  • no sleeping allowed... i might miss something
  • patriarchal blessings for clayton and anthony by their great-grandfather
  • snuggling my nieces 
  • chasing my nephews
  • KNEADERS veggie sandwich. YUM
  • give my Grandpa hugs and hopefully have another sleepover at his house
  • play with friends we've not seen for TOO long
  • watch the sun come up over the mountains
  • stalk sis. beck... jk, maybe 
  • running with Adi.... a race even
  • clayton spend some time with david and alex
  • visit my school
  • celebrate the 4th of July
  • go to the temple on Tuesday mornings at 0 dark thirty.
  • isaak and matthew together again
  • take the kids to see all the church stuff downtown
  • sleepovers on a trampoline and fun in a treehouse with the jones kids
  • board games and late night laughs with brothers and sisters
This and so much more! GOOD TIMES! Then the exhausted parents will pack up their exhausted kids and head back home on July 16th.

Summer vacay here we come!!

Now we just keep praying that the van holds out so we can get there. Prayer is a imple thing that can bring forth mighty miracles!
