climbing trees

Today we went to the Kemper Center in downtown Kenosha to check out the damage done by last weeks storm. We'd seen pics, we'd heard stories but really neither does justice to seeing the damage in person. The kids and I stood in absolute awe as we scanned the area and viewed the large number of trees that had been blown over or should I say ripped out of the ground.

The boys instantly starting climbing the trees. I grabbed a few pieces of bark to save in their memory boxes which are actually just very large ziploc bags but will some day be something special... maybe.
